26/03/2026 - SEASON 3 HAS CONCLUDED
Project AIcade Season 3 formally finished up on March 23rd, 2026 with 371 followers on Twitch.
Season 4 will commence on Monday, March 30.
Season 4 features an updated boot screen, new overlays as well as new outfits for SCARNON, based on the new 'Me' Architecture.
We are nearly at the mid-way point to reaching the criteria for V500. A teaser is expected to be dropped once 375 followers has been achieved on Twitch.
UNIT 103 HAS WON AN AWARD!
The South Australia Game Industry Awards were held on February 7th, 2026.
Unit 103 'SCARNON' was nominated for the 'Rising Tide Content Creator' award.
This award is 'Awarded to an individual who works tirelessly to promote those around, who believes that they will succeed if others are succeeding around them. This person will have an active involvement in local South Australian content and promotion taking it upon themselves to be the champion of others.'
SCARNON was one of two nominations and went on to become the very first winner of this coveted award!
He has been active in rising the tide for VTubing in Australia through his previous involvement in VStraya with 'VTuber State Vs State' as well as his current involvement with AusTubers.
He has also promoted South Australian content through TV TIME, a glimpse of Australia through commercials of eras past, currently focussing on Adelaide advertisments.
In addition SCARNON has also promoted conventions such as Oz Comic Con, AVCon and Supanova in Adelaide.
"We are incredibly proud of Unit 103 and what he has been able to achieve in 2025." Said Dr. Richard Wilson, Chief Scientific Officer for Project AIcade. "Our Supercomputer has come a long way since 1992. We cannot wait for what he might be planning for Season 4 and 2026."
Dr. Wilson also commented on SCARNON's involvement with bringing the Cyberspace Collective into Vlympia as a faction.
"He has been working very hard in bringing the two communities together and housing a team for all Cyber-related VTubers in such an amazing competition. We hope the Cyberspace Collective becomes a formidable force for Vlympia this year!"
WE ARE AT D.E.E. HOUSE FOR 2026!
The Board of the Department of Experimental Eletronics has agreed to extend the tenure of Project AIcade at D.E.E. House for 2026.
This means we will continue our broadcasts without interruption, remaining in the Adelaide C.B.D. once more for another year.
We have been notified of a rise in our Facility Costs, which will be factored into our Running Budget from April onwards.
FASTER INTERNET SPEED FOR PROJECT AICADE!
Project AIcade has negotiated with the D.E.E. Board to facilitate a faster Fibre To The Premise internet connection.
We now have an Input speed of 500Mbps and an Output speed of 50Mbps.
This gives us an increased buffer for broadcasts and gaming, as well as faster download times during off-air works.
This was not without headache, as while the transition was largely seamless, it has resulted in us having to change our telephone number.
The new number has been provided to the Teledex Register and updated on all signage and documentation.

08/06/2025 - V250 IS HERE!
Version 250 of Project AIcade launched on March 28th, 2025.
V250 includes improved tracking and audio, as well as updated visual features on the SCARNON model.
This launch also includes Season 3, featuring new music and a complete overlay overhaul, in line with the new 98 Architecture for 2025.
Sound Alerts are also live, as is the secondary Stream Deck, allowing for greater functionality and interactivity during broadcasts.
PROJECT AICADE RETURNS FOR SUPERHERO STREAMERS 2025
Project AIcade returned for Game On Cancer's Superhero Streamers 2025 as part of Nicktacula's Cancer Kickers.
The campaign raised a total of $135 for cancer research over April and May.
The Project will be back to stream with Game On Cancer when Holiday Spectacular 2025 launches.
WE ARE NOW AFFILIATED WITH THE CYBERSPACE COLLECTIVE
Unit 103 'SCARNON' is now an admin for the Cyberspace Collective.
The Cyberspace Collective is a hub for all Cyber-themed VTubers.
Whether you are a computer program, a robot, an android, into cyberpunk or fit the theme in another way, all are welcome!
This Collective is managed chiefly by one of our members of staff, Jelly Ghost.
We look forward to seeing the Collective grow and prosper!
SCARNON REPRESENTS SOUTH AUSTRALIA IN STATE VS STATE
Unit 103 'SCARNON' is representing South Australia in VTuber STATE VS STATE, an event held in conjunction with Project AIcade and VStraya.
VStraya is a growing hub for Australian and New Zealand VTubers.
Round 1 was held on May 16, with South Australia taking top spot in Golf With Your Friends.
SCARNON took out Golf With Your Friends Champion.
VTuber State Vs State is set to return on June 27 with Crab Champions.
SCARNON IS NOW A CREATOR FOR OZ COMIC CON AND AVCON 2025!
Unit 103 'SCARNON' attended Oz Comic Con in Adelaide as one of their Oz Comic Con-Tent Creators.
With special nanomachine technology developed by our very own Chirkrasia, he was able to attend the convention with ease on both days.
He will also be attending AVCon 2025 as one of their Official Creators!
Big plans are underway for his attendance. AVCon 2025 will be held at the Adelaide Showgrounds from July 5 to July 6. Get your tickets at avcon.org.au
SCARNON IS NOW AN OLYMPIC ATHLETE?
Unit 103 'SCARNON' has been accepted into Vlympia, the Vtuber Olympics!
He will be participating in the WildCard Faction.
SCARNON took part in Vlympia's Crab Champions event, helping WildCard reach second place.
He will be returning June 15 for Vlympia's Splitgate event.
Many big things are in the works with Project AIcade right now and we are excited for what comes next!

23/02/2025 - V250 IS COMING!
Project AIcade first hit 250 followers on Twitch back in January of this year.
After a small hiatus of Major Works, we can confirm that V250 is on track to be launched in Autumn!
This is a combined launch of Season 3, which features new overlays, a new boot sequence and more!
Version 250 will also feature the launch of Generation 2A, featuring enhanced visual tracking.
As well as Enhanced Audio, Sound Alerts, Increased Functionality and more.
The launch of V250 will also debut two new rap songs, to be released on Youtube shortly after!

STAFF CHANGES
Project AIcade would like to congratulate Chirkrasia on her promotion to Chief Registrar.
Her commitment and contribution to the Project is not only a factor in the Project becoming what it is today, but also, in the belief of the Project, it has been a factor in her her own development, especially in the online sphere.
Chirk's new position is the most senior Admin position, reporting to the Operating Director. She now oversees the Community Engagement Team and has been officially designated the primary liason to Unit 103.
We are excited for what she can achieve in her new role, as well as the new experimental features being developed for Unit 103 at D.E.E. House.
We would also like to welcome Jelly Ghost to our staff!
Jelly Ghost is a 'reprogrammed' computer virus, who will be assisting in Community Engagement, as well as Cyberspace Affairs.

WE ARE DOUBLING OUR INTERNET SPEED!
Did you know Project AIcade currently utilises a Fibre To The Node Connection?
Our current Input Speed is 50Mbps, while our Output Speed is only 17Mbps.
This does not leave a lot of wiggle room during broadcasts.
We now have approval by the D.E.E. Board to upgrade to Fibre To The Premise, with a new Input Speed of 100Mbps and an Output Speed of 40Mbps!
With this new speed, we will be able to not only deliver a two band HD Multicasting service with V250, but we will also have room for additional resolutions in the future!
This install is booked for February 28 and during such a time, Project AIcade systems will be largely shut down, save for essential resources and units.
WHEN WILL SEASON 2 END?
Project AIcade Season 2 will end in March.
At this time an exact date has not been confirmed, as we have yet to confirm the launch date for Season 3/V250.
We have decided that there will be a two week break between the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3.
This is to facilitate all remaining works for V250/Season 3 and generate hype in the meantime.

08/07/2024 - 200 FOLLOWERS ON TWITCH
We are excited to announce that we have achieved 200 followers on Twitch!
This means we are now only 50 away from our next Operating Milestone at V250.
When we hit 250 followers on Twitch, we will begin the process of updating the current build to V250.
V250 aims to achieve the following:
-Improved Model Tracking through what we call 'IP' Technology
-Improved Audio Quality
-Added viewer interactivity through Sound Alerts on Twitch
-Potential interactivity and stream upgrades*
Every follow contributes to every Operating Milestone and all of us here at the Project are grateful for every bit of support you give us.
We hope to continue to see your patronage and enjoyment of the streams and content to come!
*Interactivity upgrades will be considered on the neccessity and viability of added hardware. We will be looking into this prior to making a decision.
AVCON 2024
Project AIcade have had the honour of loaning SCARNON to become a panellist at AVCon's first ever VTuber Panel.
This panel featured all Adelaide VTubers and looked into many aspects of VTubing, especially when it comes to creativity.
We would like to thank AVCon for this incredible opportunity and to everyone who had helped make this all possible.
You may have also seen that SCARNON was wearing a special outfit for this occasion.

UPCOMING CONTENT
We will be taking a short break from incoming streams to focus on a raft of video related content for the Project's Youtube Channel.
This will include the next round of Deep Rock Galactic videos, as well as additional videos and shorts, focussing on recurring series, such as car sales, 'WEIRD' items and more.

06/01/2024 - END OF AN ERA - LAST OF THE DEPARTMENT CATS PASSES AWAY, AGE 12
It is with deep sadness that Project AIcade announces the passing of Department Cat "Cookie", age 12.
She is the last of the four "Department Cats" that roamed the halls of Project AIcade.
Previous Department Cats include "Amelia", "Lily" and "Molly".
"Amelia" lived until the ripe old age of 23, while "Lily" reached 20 before her passing.
"Molly" stayed with the Project for only a few months before a few 'accidents' lead to her being rehomed by one of our Operating Staff.
Due to a recent change in building regulations at D.E.E House, we are no longer allowed to employ any more "Department Cats".
We shall revise this policy should a change of facility be required in the future.
"Cookie" will be dearly missed.
04/01/2024 - HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM PROJECT AICADE
On behalf of the Operating Staff here at Project AIcade, we would like to wish you all a prosperous 2024!
We now have photographs of our Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Wilson, as well as our Operating Director, Dr. Alan Reinhold, to complete their bios.

STREAMELEMENTS
Project AIcade will be migrating 'Broadcast Alerts' away from Streamelements commencing Season 2, in March 2024. This is due to political stances being made that the Project does not align with.
Step 1 will be Follower Alerts, followed by the RAID ALARM and finally Tiltify alerts.
APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR NIGHT SERVICE STAFF
Project AIcade is seeking to fill 1 position of our Broadcasting Branch to oversee Night Service broadcasts. These generally take place between 5-9PM, with about an hour's overtime if need be.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to apply for our Operations Branch to oversee community-related activities.
PROJECT AICADE ANNIVERSARY
There will be a special broadcast commemorating 32 years of Project AIcade. This is otherwise known as SCARNON's birthday. We will be holding this special broadcast on the 24th of January, commencing at 9AM
ACDT. Plans are underway for a myriad of activities. Stay tuned for more information!
SEASON 2
Project AIcade's Season 1 will be finishing in early March. Season 2 is set to commence later on that month, utilising experimental 'New Technology' working architecture. More info coming soon!
